COVID19 Vaccine Image

To reduce the spread of the virus:

  • Get vaccinated and stay up-to-date with COVID-19 Vaccine
  • Avoid crowds and poorly ventilated indoor spaces
  • Test to prevent spread to others; follow recommendations for quarantine or isolation
  • Monitor your health daily; stay home if you don't feel well
  • Wash hands often
  • Cover coughs and sneezes
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces

COVID-19 Vaccine

On September 15, 2023, the below CDC COVID-19 vaccine guidance was issued:

* Everyone 6 months and older is recommended to receive at least one updated 2023- 2024 COVID-19 vaccine.
* Individuals 5 years of age and older regardless of previous vaccination are eligible to receive a single dose of an updated mRNA COVID-19 vaccine at least 2 months after the last dose of any COVID-19 vaccine.
* Children ages 6 months–to 4 years may need 2 doses of Moderna if they have not been previously vaccinated.
* CDC vaccination guidelines will vary for those who are moderately or severely immunocompromised.

FCPH is an enrolled provider for the COVID-19 vaccine and follows recommendations and guidance from the CDC's Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices and the North Dakota Department of Health. FCPH continues to work with community partners to strategically vaccinate our community in an ethical and efficient manner.

COVID-19 Testing

Our COVID-19 Free Home Test Kit Program ended on April 5, 2024. If you are in need of a test, we suggest reaching out to your local pharmacy or clinic for test availability.

** The FDA evaluated the shelf life of currently approved tests and concluded that the tests' viability is longer than manufacturers originally thought. If you have test kits at home, you can check the expiration date here: FDA site for more information.
